Andrew Millison is an agent for change who shares permaculture wisdom through expressions of art, design and multimedia storytelling.

Andrew is a documentary videographer who travels the world filming epic Permaculture projects on his YouTube channel , which boasts over 100 million video views. He has produced stories from places such as India, Egypt, Mexico, Spain, the African Sahel, Indonesia, Singapore, East Timor, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, the Philippines, Panama, Cuba, and throughout the US.
He has worked with organizations such as the United Nations World Food Program in Africa, the Paani Foundation in India, the Municipality of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, and the Government of Timor Leste.

Andrew created the Earth Repair Fund in order to use his popular YouTube videos to make change directly on the ground. The videos serve as crowdfunding vehicles and make a call to action within the video for people to support the highlighted project. This flagship video was produced for an indigenous group in Hawaii who are restoring their traditional culture / agriculture system.

Andrew offers online courses for the general public and for university students through the Department of Horticulture at Oregon State University (OSU), where he is a Senior Instructor II. In 2009, he founded OSU Permaculture Design, which has evolved into the leading online Permaculture educational platform in the world and has served many thousands of students throughout the planet. He works with an experienced team of Permaculture experts to deliver multiple courses through OSU’s online platforms.

CUSTOM WORKSHOPS
Andrew has taught in-person and hands-on workshops throughout his 30 year career in Permaculture. In-person workshops can be customized for industry, governments, groups and the public. Workshops may focus on gathering stakeholders for a design charette of a site. They can be focussed on how to communicate through mass media. They can be focussed on a particular topic like rainwater harvesting or land planning. Andrew has other collaborators he will bring in to customize your organization’s educational experience
